tough week for the road teams. #8 was not easy to decide this time around
PFR =
Predicted
Final
Record
Franks Power 81. Lions - the Lions are 10 - 0 after defeating the Pirates in OT and have a legitimate shot at going undefeated (until i typed that haha). they have a tough game this week hosting the Heroes and travel to Toyoma to close the regular season, but otherwise they only face Africa teams who have a combined record of 7 - 23. Lagos leads the league in rush yards per game on both sides of the ball resulting in a 128 yards per game margin. for reference, half of the leagues teams average below 128 rushing yards per game total. they have claimed the Africa division in week 10!!!.......confidence levels in Lagos are erupting
PFR 15-12. Tornadoes - the Tornadoes sleepwalk through three quarters but wake up in the fourth to win at home. they remain on top of the New World and are favorites to represent in the Ultimate Showdown. they have a point differential of 102, which leads the league. as predicted, awest827 has built Guayaquil into a perennial contender in short order. after 10 games they have allowed just 70 points and
QB Arthur Gayle has just one turn over. they host the Kraken this week then after they have no opponents over 500
PFR 15-13. Revolution - the Revolution needed just one touchdown to defeat division rival Nashville and improve to 8-2. they are one of three teams to yet allow 100 points and are currently on the leagues second longest winning streak. they have a two game lead on the champs in USA and a favorable schedule on the horizon. thier two losses were to teams expected to make the postseason and on the road
PFR 13-34. Pirates - the Pirates lose to the #1 Lions in OT to stay put at #4. they co lead the toughest division Asia with the Zippers who they will be facing twice in the next 4 weeks making a relatively difficult remaining schedule. they are second in the league in scoring
PFR 11-55. Butchers - the champs jump all the way up to #5 with a dismantling of Rosario at McDonalds Stadium. Chicago is #2 in rushing total thanks to
RB Arlo Dean, who leads the league. not an easy road for them from here out....two vs Bobcats and a trip to Dublin is in the cards. nobody wants to face the Butchers in the playoffs
PFR 10-66. Zippers - the Zippers re enter with a win over previous #6 Heroes. seems they have addressed the issues that resulted in the loss to the Tide. they have not lost to an Asia team but have three division matches coming up making a difficult remaining schedule
PFR 10-67. Anchors - the Anchors fail to score a TD and drop their second straight to fall two spots. they keep a one game lead in Oceania and lead the league in interceptions, sacks & turnover margin. that is impressive. they have a few tough games on their schedule including next weeks match vs the Praetorians...a game both teams need a W to pull out of their funk
PFR 11-58. Kraken - the Kraken crawl back into the Power 8 with a win over the struggling Nanooks.
RB Micahel Perez is having another productive season while
QB David Nowell is struggling with interceptions. might be a short stay in the Power 8 for the Kraken...they enter Guayaquil as 12 point underdogs
PFR 10-6
