Greatest all time - Steve Largent has to be in the mix, face of a new franchise, broke every record in the book for a WR at the time. He wasn't fast (for a WR) but caught everything and was always open (even when he wasn't)

First pick in an all-time NFL you'd have to look at Joe Montana but I'd take Barry Sanders

Patrick Willis? I am feeling dumb who is he. I would take Lawrence Taylor 1st overall. He changed the game..and I am not a GIANTS fan.

That is good ......since there is no such thing thing as an honorable giants fan

lol, Frank
Thats a true Eagles fan talking. I'm from Giants territory and most are season ticket holders.
No one wants to talk about Lawrence Taylor. He is probably the greatest defensive player ever, and I mean that.
Got to see him play a few times.

Frank, What did you make of the decision to bench Jalen Hurts for the WFT game in week 17. Giants not impressed apparently lol

eh....eagles are a mess now. sad to see them go from top to bottom. there should not be discussion of firing gm or head coach just three seasons removed from superbowl victory. they even made playoffs in every season since

this was certainly a bizarre season. i say this year doesnt really count. games being played on wednesday afternoon? teams being forced to play without a quarterback? and no fans. 2020 nfl season gets an asterisk for sure

was a bit confused when wentz was benched. but it began to make sense when i thought of it. i figured hurts was drafted as a trade chip, so why not show him off in a lost season. plus, hurts is mobile, which makes sense when o line is in crumbles. it wouldve been strange not to put hurts in imo

the 70 million that is guaranteed to wentz hasnt even begun to be paid yet. not sure how they could get out of that unless there is a mutual decision to nullify contract which i am not sure is a thing but cant see why not if it is mutual. depends on how bad he wants a trade i suppose

as far as hurts being benched in forth quarter down 3.....i am not a proponent of tanking, but i didnt see anything to play for besides honor/pride. on paper, a loss was beneficial as they moved from 9th pick to 6th pick

they shouldve rolled out the bench to start. why play starters in a game that doesnt matter? there are no fans being robbed a chance to see their favorite player. buccaneers kept evans on the field too long and then he almost got a serious injury. if your post season positioning is locked in, even if it doesnt involve positioning at all, play the bench.....its not like the bench is made of a bunch of mechanics and plumbers

generally, i agree with herm edwards and jason kelce, but in this circumstance i am not bothered by it

the best part is how salty the giant fan base is about it all. maybe they should have won more than 6 games and not relied on another team winning in order to make the playoffs...just saying

nfc east is in sad shape. there was a time that the nfc east was pretty much the premier league of nfl. this will undoubtedly fuel eagles/giants rivalry

nfl doesnt have the draw it once did for me. i see more insurance commercials than i do first downs. i hardly watched any games this year...i do listen on radio tho.....eagles radio team is fantastic....but i just dont get upset about eagles losing like i once did, which is good because i wouldve had an angry year

if eagles choose a qb with 6th pick....ha

I agree with you. I'm not quite sure why everyone is freaking out as almost every team starts testing roster bubble players when the games are meaningless and I believe the coach when he said Sudfield had been loyal and earned the playing time to show what he can do in a meaningless game. He's an NFL QB I don't think the coach thought he was going to bomb like that. I get the feeling the coach had confidence in him and thought he'd earn him a nice payday with an end of season comeback win.

When i was 9 years old, our little league coach said "boys, if you win tonight, i'm buying you all ice cream at the new restaurant on Rt.22". Well, we won the game, all piled into the three coaches cars and went for ice cream. The new restaurant was call Gino's. It was owned by Baltimore Colts Hall of Famer Gino Marchetti, and it was opening day/night. There was Gino Marchetti, Hall of Famer Artie Donovan and Johnny Unitas. I shook all of their hands and got an autographed picture of each. So, i've been a Colts fan since then, and that was 60 years ago.

Living in Central Pennsylvania, it was a short ride to Baltimore for games. We went to numerous season and playoff games there. Then the Colts broke my heart and moved to Indy. I tried to root for the Eagles. I tried to root for the Steelers. But i always found myself looking back at the boxscores for the Colts. I couldn't root for Bert Jones one season and hate him the next.

I loved Peyton Manning. If you notice on my Auckland Anchors, my quarter back is named Conner Manning. Conner was Peyton's older brother who suffered a very bad back injury in college and never played again. All of the Mannings claim that Conner was the best athlete and quarterback our of all the Manning boys. Hopefully, my Conner Manning will live up to the name in this league.

So, that's my story and i'm sticking too it. Always a Colts fan, through good times and bad.

H....
