GG Butchers. I already had a bad feeling about the season earlier when we won most of our games. But that it would turn out with an elimination hits hard.
I don't think you've been eliminated yet, tied games seem to throw the playoff positions out of whack. Your team is 8-5-2, which is the equivalent of 9-6. Therefore you can still finish above Jake's team.
On our side of the fence, I'm pretty sure ourselves (Street Urchins) and Dublin are both in with a shot of the #6 seed. We play Dublin in Ireland in a winner takes second in the division clash. If Dublin win and Cairo don't they advance. If we win we eliminate Dublin we have the head to head tiebreaker over Brisbane and Cairo - so if Cairo lose and we win, I think we're the #6 seed.
So,
Cairo are win and in. After that, it gets complicated
If Cairo fail to win (or tie), Dublin advance with a win
If Cairo and Dublin both lose, I think we qualify. Although we may also need Brisbane to lose as although we have the H2H over them, they have the better Conference record which I think comes into play in a 3-way tiebreak.
Brisbane may also be able to win their division with a win and Auckland defeat as that would give both teams 5-1 divisional records and 8-4 Conference records. The next tiebreak would be common opponents. IF that happens, I have no idea who would take the #6 seed
