919 to 420......big gap.......not going to veto

1) Houston has won 4 games in last three seasons, pick value (420) has a good chance of increasing to 500+

2) RB Gregory Flores (199), TE Ronald Hughes (368) & SS Ambush Adams (352) are all mediocre players whose values are decreasing

in 2077 the total values of this trade will be closer

prediction - Rodeo will win more games than the Stars in 2074

Rodeo may win more games in '74 than the Stars, but Stars will dominate this league for years after that. Did you see their future draft picks? In '75 they already have 8 first round picks and 7 second round picks. Then in '76 they already have 4 first round picks with 4 second round picks. Twelve firsts and eleven seconds in two years. How many do most other teams have?

His trading strategy seems brilliant. If you look at the players he has traded for picks, many of them he never drafted. I may be wrong here, but that implies he signs mediocre FA's as cheaply as possible then includes them in trades to up his side of the trade value. Thus, he gets your draft pick for a free agent that basically cost him nothing. That is brilliant. HK is probably the best "wheeler dealer" I have seen.

I love to trade and I am aggressive trader..but its all part of my 5 year plan to build a team that will be playoff bound for decade. I usually take over team and will try to trade all 53 or at least majority part of the roster to acquire different player and picks... and I will do this aggressively for 3 years till my drafted players start to build the core of my team... so year 4-5 is building core and than its business as usually to preserve the team to make run from 6-11 year and than try to see if there is chance to restock and make one more run before year 14 as post that I will be in 2nd rebuild.

On the trade I have traded mostly the player I had on roster that I acquire or players I acquire on trade.... plus some good or decent backup I picked up cheap in FA and develop them so I can use them as sweetener in the trade to make the deal happen but most important key is I will study every team roster and draft pattern and see what gaps they have and will offer aggressive trade offer that will benefit other team as well as mine ... as it all goes by what both team needs.

I will break bank and trade many of my 1st for star players if offered but that is more of year 3-5 time window....

I do this as I am lousy coach but I am good GM who is adamant to build the team my way where I will trade a lot between 1-5 years ..... I also trade with consistent value... just as example I had 3 offer for A.Adam... matter of fact if I had not agreed to trade for him with Houston I had chance to package A.Adam along with lower 1st round for early 1st as he can play CB,SS, FS or LB

Again ... just sharing this just as experience....I like to keep league active ...fun and talking.... :).

Open to ideas .... views..... what you all think .....

Adam is not mediocre he is good starter who will have 5-6 year career not long 10 year
other 2 are back up role players signed for minimum

HK....my post wasn't intended as a knock on you. You put more time into trading and being the GM of your team than I or most owners are willing to do. It really is impressive. It is a brilliant strategy. On the other hand, i think it hurts a league when someone simply dominates the draft like that. It makes me feel like what chance do i have to compete with w team like yours. I'm not one to drop a team quickly because i become attached to my guys, but i think there are some that may say "well i can't compete, so i'll drop this team". I may be wrong, but it's my opinion. Still, you are masterful, and i am impressed.

i dont believe anyone will ever dominate this league.....too many great owners. there are owners in this league that have won several championships in other leagues that miss the playoffs here. Ultimate Legends

as league admin, i now have a glimpse of what NBA commish Adam Silver must have felt when he was watching the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers tank about 8 years ago.....do i let it go or should i step in. i think its exciting so im letting it go. in a way it benefits everyone......the Stars are like a store for draft picks...makes it easier to draft someone that you have your eyes on

either way, im not sold on this "process" working out for the Stars. time will tell

I will give it a try who know I may be wrong but I will try...... oh just to clarify .. I have not tanked.. I took the team which was 6-10 ... I traded most all but ended season with 7-9 ..... not a lot but it was 1 game improvement..... I know this season may be long one so will not make promise but you can count that we will be in every game... and hope we can keep same record or improve.

I did took your comment as complement.... no worries.

I have used this in other 2 league... trust me while I have been consistant playoff team... I have not won may Super Bowl... so rest easy this process is good and will improve my team and will make it regular playoff candidate but that's all... I will not say it will be may Super Bowl.. its not proven to do that yet.
