At the end of the 2076 season HC Matthew Sorenson and DC James Thompson decided enough was enough and retired from the team. However this presented a great opportunity for the Sharks to move forward by installing a completely new system. After a series of interviews they offered the Head Coaching job to former OC Robert Davis from Rajkot. They also fired OC Pasquale Wong and hired John Cavazos who was the quarterbacks coach from Rosario. In addition they hired former San Paulo backfield coach Gregory Ritchie to be the new DC. Both the new OC and DC are on the same page as HC Robert Davis when it comes to the new playbook Davis is installing.

One of the biggest moves the new coach has made was the massive trade deal that sent MLB Inigo Montoya to the Stampede for a package of 1st and 2nd round picks. Fans were not happy with this move however the team compensated by adding 9 year veteran WLB Dean Mack who many scouts say is a worthy addition to the club and many feel that the addition of Mack makes the trade package for Montoya all the more sweeter.
