I just wanted to see if anybody agrees with me. I think we all agree that a big problem with MFN right now is the passing game is not nearly as good as the running game. It would appear that having a RB play TE has improved the passing game. If I'm the only one who does it then it would just be an advantage for me. But if the whole league did it then wouldn't that make the game better. As it is now the best way to have a good offense is run the ball as much as possible and barely pass. Making this change would make it worth it to pass a little more. For me that would be more enjoyable. The WR at RB made the already overpowered running game even better. But the RB at TE makes the non-existent passing game more balanced which is what I personally would like. I definitely see why you wouldn't just want one team taking advantage of this but it might be better if everyone did it. I figured it was worth asking the league and seeing what everyone thinks. On running plays the lighter player would be easier to beat so that is a small disadvantage but as far as I can tell it doesn't make much difference. On passing plays the lighter player is faster running the route and is able to create more separation and is more capeable of getting behind the defense for big plays.
Everyone can choose to play a lighter player at TE. Possibly helping the passing game. | 9 | |
Nobody can play a player lighter than a TE at the TE position. Keeping the passing game less effective. | 8 |
