I didn't want to tell you but since you asked. Batbayar was a 191 pound corner. Since he is in year 9 he has started to decline. If I leave him at corner he will continue to decline and he won't be worth the money to resign. So I get a really good corner for one year but I don't necessarily need him to start at corner. If I move him to LB he will still continue to decline and retire most likely year 12 not worth it to resign. If I move him to DT he can only gain 50 to 60 pounds he will max out around 250 pounds LB weight but he will not decline until year 11 or retire till year 14ish. So instead of getting a corner for one year I get a LB for 3 years without decline and could potentially give him 6 years till he retires.

It was a tough decision to trade for Mathews because of his age but my team has been struggling to get a consistent pass rush. Mathews has been near the league lead in sacks each of the last 4 seasons so hopefully I get the same production from him.
"struggling" :)

interesting trade, Mathews and Batbayar will need to be resigned this year and at 9 years experience will begin thinking about retirement very soon, but both have been absolutely dominant and injury proof so far. Trevino isn't the most skilled WR but that combo of speed, acc, and strength is absolutely high end.

I do wonder, what is the benefit of assigning an MLB to DT(as Batbyar was when the trade went through) other than possibly they don't retire as early?

glad winslow found a quality landing spot but not looking forward to seeing him and badger 2-3 times a year haha.
i started experimenting with switching lbs to des for longevity last season.....research results will be seen soon
