the Kraken become the first team in ULRO history to go undefeated in their conference with a shutout in Vancouver. they claim the teams second division title. it is clearer than ever that these teams arent fond of each other after things got chippy in the fourth quarter. there were a few fines awarded but no suspensions are expected. Kraken are up nine wins to three all time versus the Trident. Quebec will be hosting the division rival Dire Wolves in the Pretenders vs Contenders round

the Dire Wolves earn their first trip to the post season despite losing their last two games of the season. this week they allowed Power RB Isaac Johnson to run for an all time ULRO record 243 yards on 35 carries with two TDs. woah! he totaled 260 yards from scrimmage. the Power earn their tenth win for the fourth time in team history and head on to face the M/CA division champion Golden Eagles for a rematch of their week 14 battle which the Power won 16 - 13 in Calgary

the Golden Eagles finish their season with a 0-3 road trip after a loss to the Tide. they return home for the Pretenders vs Contenders round to host the Power. after his willingness to power through his injury RB Benjamin Penticost seems to have hit the wall in week 16 but he is expected to carry on. Tide HC Robert Goin was adamant about this beatdown of the week being a statement game and that Tijuana is expected to make a run at the division title next season

the Revolution make it 8 in a row after an overtime victory over the visiting Prizefighters. RB Hotcakes Sampsons TD seals the deal and he now has 2 rushing TDs, 2 kicks return TDs and a receiving TD in his last three games. Sampson & RB David Steinberg have easily been the most dynamic RB duo in league history. only Steinbergs tendency to put the ball on the ground is keeping them from being labeled unstoppable. they are the leagues only teammates that each have 4000+ career rushing yards and 25+ TDs. Steinberg gained a career high 1614 yards on the ground in 2074 and has rushed for 1000+ yards for the fifth straight season. he is currently the leagues all time leading rusher in yards and TDs. the Revolution will be bringing their 8 game win streak to Sao Paulo next week as two point favorites

the Butchers keep things rolling with a victory over the Guazues. RB Antonio Cassidy sets a career high 1264 yards rushing and remains the only player in league history to rush for 900+ yards every season since leagues inception. they take next week off to watch the dust settle
