major shake ups in the power rankings this week

QB Craig Vines is picked off twice within the two minute warning after the Stars score 17 points in the second half to earn a victory at home over the Sharks to improve to 4-3

the Deities double up the Heroes to earn their fifth straight W. SLB William Martin records two picks including a 23 yard return in the third quarter

QB John Cromartie has a sterling game versus the team that drafted him in the beatdown of the week. the Kraken hold the Rodeo are held to just 95 yards of offense and now average just 136 a game (32nd) while allowing 392 a game (32nd). Houston HC Gary Stover is in the final year of his contract and nobody talks to him unless its work related

the Trident travel to Manila to win a game that featured zero turnovers to end a three game skid. DT Bernie Sandoval records two sacks

K Matthew Pierce connects on 3 FG as the Trident defeat the Prizefighters in Manila

RB Antonio Cassidy has a career day with 179 yards and 2 TDs on just 20 touches as the Butchers win a big game in Oxford. the Street Urchins have dropped two in a row after starting 5-0. Chicago slides into the number one spot of the programs power rankings and have become a popular pick to win the Ultimate Showdown

the Strongbows win over the Pirates in a wild game that is as back and forth as it gets here in MFN RO. a late fumble from TE Jess Smith sets up K Nicholas Richardson for a field goal to take the lead. the Pirates tie the game with a FG of their own leaving just 28 ticks on the clock. then QB Charles Lair connects with WR Jordan Knight on a huge 47 yard play to set up Richardson with a walk off field goal, his second of the final two minutes. this is the game of the week and may be the game of the year. instant classic. Dublin WR Gerald Walker has a big game with 146 yards and 2 TDs. the Pirates drop below 500 but have a relatively week strength of schedule remaining. however, 6 of their last 7 games are on the road

the Tide fail to ride the wave of their victory last week in Mexico City and drop one to the Bushmasters. San Jose will be hosting a big game next week versus the Golden Eagles. in a surprising twist, both QB Brandon Watts & RB Richard Braswell go an entire game without turning the ball over. keep up the good work, gents

the Macaws fail to capitalize on a late game safety to get them within one point as the Golden Eagles move to 4-3. there were 8 total field goals in this game. DT George White records 2 sacks and WR Benjamin Penticost runs for 118 yards and has a league leading 725

the Gauchos intercept QB Walter McFadden twice in the final frame and shut out the Tornadoes 13 zip to move to 5-1

the 86ers hold the Choppers to just 83 yards of offense to claim their first W on the season

RB John Hayman scampers for a TD after the two minute warning to force overtime where neither team is able to score as the Guazues and the Stampede battle to a stalemate

the Zippers defeat the Lions 6-3 in Lagos. the Lions have now dropped three in a row after starting 4-0.

the Spires protect home turf form the Manta Rays, 10-6

the Anchors save the best for last as they orchestrate an awesome 15 play 90 yard TD drive to take the lead while leaving just 23 ticks on the clock to defeat the visiting Dire Wolves

the Power score 14 in the first quarter including a 71 yard TD run from star rookie RB Samuel Heisman and win a statement game in Philadelphia. this makes three in a row for Calgary and they seem to have cured their early season hiccups

the Owls win a critical game at home to improve to 3-4. the loss is just the second for the Bayhawks who look to bounce back next week when they host the Revolution

another great week yall. dont forget that this is the trade deadline
