five of the seven 3-0 teams suffered a loss in week 4

K Matthew Pierce kicks a field goal with 32 seconds remaining to tie it up in Vancouver. then, on his own 25 yard line, Chicago QB William Cutting forces an inexplicable pass in the face of heavy pressure. https://uro.myfootballnow.com/watch/1288#213764 CB Daniel Lasher is all over it and makes the pick to set up Pierce for his second field goal of the last 32 seconds to earn the win in the game of the week. unbelievable finish. the Microsoft Dome recorded its highest decibel reading ever. this was a severe lack of judgement from the 2 time MVP. after the game Cutting was adamant about taking the blame in as little words as he could

QB Randy Jackson throws his first two TDs on the season and the Prizefighters shock the crowd in Quebec with 17 unanswered points in the second half

the Street Urchins utilize OT to win 2073s first Battle for Wales. Dublin had to settle for a game tying field goal after being unable to cross the goal line from the 4 yard line with 51 seconds. then in OT the Strongbows manage to get in field goal range where RB James Doe is stripped by CB Franklin Fontana. 34 yards later results in a 55 yard walk off field goal from K Leif "Left Peg" Legg, his second walk off of the season. this is Oxfords 5th straight win in the fabled rivalry

the Spires took a 9 - 3 lead into the fourth and then scored two TDs to absolutely shock the hosting Zippers in the upset of the week. Zippers QB Shane Sharp helps the cause by throwing 3 INTs and 0 TDs. at 3-1 Toyama is still expected to make a post season run, but many wonder if Sharp is the one who is going to take them there after 2 TDs and 6 INTs in 4 games. their strength of schedule over the next 8 weeks is very high

QB Luther Peterson throws 333 YDs & 3 TDs as Mumbai stomps all over the Ulaanbaatars promising start in the beatdown of the week. this was the first iteration of the Himilaya Cup which only created 65% capacity in Mumbai. there was some scuffling on the field after a meaningless 57 yard field goal sailed through the uprights as time expired

K Cedric Longwell goes 5/5 including two of 50+ as the Lions rack up 213 yards on the ground to spoil Rosarios first trip to Lagos. a big game next week for the Guazues....they will be hosting the Copa de Parana

K Ryan Smith is successful from 44 yards with 46 ticks left to earn the victory in Brisbane for the visiting Deities

the Pirates stay in high gear with a win over the Tide. Tijuana has been in a tailspin ever since their loss to the Revolution in the 2071 Contenders vs. Favorites round and the fans have been vocal about their displeasure. no one is quite sure what has happened but most fingers seem to be pointing at the head coach since that is the usually the easiest person to blame

RB Fresno Davis has a career game (160 YDs rushing & 2 TDs on just 9 carries) as the Bushmasters earn a home win over the Macaws

the Golden Eagles gain 240 yards on the ground and pass the ball just nine times to begin their next win streak in Guayaquil

the Gauchos are inept for the first three quarters but then score ten points to tie it up. then in OT they kick a field goal with just 50 seconds remaining to keep the Choppers out of the win column

the Stampede hold on to win in another close game with a bizarre finish. reigning MVP K Arturo Bryant misses a 51 yard attempt to give the 86ers the ball on their own 40 down by 2 . after a quick 19 yard gain, the 86ers had a first down on the Stampede 41 with 16 seconds to go. instead of running another play to get to closer for a game winning field goal, they opt to try a 58 yarder which ends up short. on the very next play, Brazzaville lines up in victory formation amd somehow QB Andrew Prosser fumbles the ball, which returns the ball to the 86ers on the Stampede 48 with ten seconds to go. https://uro.myfootballnow.com/watch/1294#214764 however, the gift is wasted with a 4 yard pass far from the sideline and the game ends. extremely questionable late game decision making by HC Douglas Doty

CB Matthew Hicks records 2 INTs and the Manta Rays defend home turf to give the Dire Wolves their second straight loss

the Anchors leave a wake of confusion in Calgary after a 13 - 6 victory. the Power are now 0-4 after producing 3 punts, 3 turnovers and a missed field goal in the second half. the boos in Suncor Coliseum could be heard miles away. they are now longshots to make the post season

RB David Steinberg rushes for 3 TDs as theRevolution easily take care of business at home vs the Owls. Athens QB Aaron Clark throws 2 INTs and is having a rough start this season. the loss is the third straight for the Owls who look to turn things around next week when they host the 4-0 Lions

the Bayhawks outgain the Rodeo by 400 yards in an absolute destruction. two Bayhawk running backs rush for 100+ yards. rookie RB Anthony Hughes III had 146 YDs and 2 TDs on just 11 touches. Houston is horrible. they are now 2 - 34 in their last 36 games. no one knows how or why QB Brandon House is still starting.......he is clearly not an ULRO caliber QB. at least they have their first round pick.......they are overwhelming favorites to choose first next draft

Hard defeat in the previous one of the most important match. I hope it has served to recover the 2 injured players and give the Gauchos a good fight.
