cheers to a new season

the Stars win their first game in Mumbai with the help from RB Michael Ellisons 2 TDs

QB Aaron Clarks TD pass to WR Joseph Perkins seals the deal late as the Owls barely win in Houston despite outgaining the Rodeo by 240 yards. Rodeo SS T Bone Pickens had two interceptions

The Dire Wolves defeat the defending division champ Power with 6 FGs from K Christopher Rodriguez

The Prizefighters and Manta Rays battle to a tie in the Island Cup despite Manila outgaining Jakarta by 216 yards. Jakarta was held to just 143 yards of offense. Manila QB Randy Jackson (third overall pick in allocation draft) throws 3 INTs in rough start to what many believe is a make or break year for him. at just 26, he has several years left in his career, but his impressive attributes have been a far cry from his output thus far....he now has 28 TDs to 53 INTs and a rating of 69.82 for his career, which places him at 15th best out of the 19 QBs who have 1500 career pass attempts

Street Urchins K Leif 'Left Peg' Legg boots in a 43 yarder as time expires to take down the Pirates

the Kraken defend their home turf from the Trident with a convincing victory. their next match is in week 15

WR Paco Keys scores again as the Butchers claim the first match vs the Bayhawks. they face off again in week 11. Keys now stands alone as ULROs all time TD leader with 29

the Strongbows orchestrate a 14 play 72 YD TD drive on their last possession to defeat the visiting Revolution in the game of the week

the Anchors put together a 9 play 73 YD TD drive to tie the score late but leave 1:21 on the clock which was enough time for the Heroes to set up K Jeffrey White for a 51 YD FG as time expires to win in Aukland

the QB C.J. Calloway era gets off to a rough start but the Lions manage a win over the Sharks

The Deities defeat the 86ers after Johannesburg inexplicably starts rookie QB Scott Schilling over QB Steve Williams

K Arturo Bryant aims to repeat as MVP with a 5/5 performance including three for 50+ as the Stampede defeat the Tornadoes 22 zip in the beatdown of the week. the Tornadoes managed to gain just 108 yards on their own turf and many children in the stands could be seen crying throughout the contest. Brazzavilles defensive line is no joke even after stone in ma shoes move to LB. LDE Michael Banks registers 2 sacks, 2 recovered fumbles and a forced fumble

the Gauchos defeat the Tide 20 - 3. RB Richard Braswell remains Tijuanas primary running back despite his fumble woes. he has 56 fumbles in 59 career games played, 17 more than second on all time list....yikes

the Guazues spoil the inaugural game in the Havana Caribbean Nest by defeating the Macaws

the defending champion Golden Eagles need every minute but the last of the fourth quarter to win in Sao Paulo for their 15th straight

the Zippers get help from RB John Ramirez (2 rushing TDs) and CB Simon Tea (2 INTs including a pick six) to ruin the Bushmasters home opener. QB Brandon Watts somehow remains the starter in San Jose. his 2 INTs thrown in this game give him a total of 92 (!) in 62 career games. QB Craig Vines is a distant second with 64. Watts 4.77 yards per attempt is the lowest among QBs with 1500 career passes despite having WR Jason Eades who averages 23.9 yards per reception which is best all time among receivers with more than 3 receptions

great kick off everyone. i didnt get around to making predictions this time around. i suspect that there isnt going to be much change this season. i doubt Africa will have three 12 win teams again. i believe Canada and USA (minus Houston) will all be in the hunt like usual. Guazues have a shot to make playoffs for first time. both the Strongbows and the Street Urchins will be in the wild card hunt and the Prizefighters seem to have taken control of Oceania for now

I just don't get it. My QB has great attributes and his weapons aren't bad and my K is practically perfect yet they play like trash. So confusing.

Our old man M.Ellison seriously got confused and started to feel himself as the movie star.... as he was unlikely hero who won the game for Stars....

it was typical Bollywood style game.. where good guys (Stars) are underdog.. getting beat but than in heroic way they rise with W

so funny but my team is already adopting well in Mumbai......

Hope next 15 week we keep creating miracles .... else it will be horror comedy :)

I'm with ya... just seems like even when the Owls play good, we just don't like scoring points. Some games we have a balanced attack, other games we run the 8 times and throw 60 times for 165 yds, I just don't get it. Our coach may be on the hot seat after 3 straight playoff appearances, not sure what else to do.
