here we go into the final stretch of 2072. hats off to Deities
RB Barry Wilson for landing both offensive and defensive honors in the same week.....i dont get it
RB Hotcakes Sampson runs for two TDs in the first half as the
Revolution make easy work of the Bushmasters who are in free fall mode. the win puts the Revolution in the lead of the New World wild card race. a week 16 matchup with the Bayhawks at home has the potential to decide the USA division winner. the Revolution will be heavily rooting for the Golden Eagles next week. the Bushmasters are now on the outside looking in after dropping 6 straight. their next two games are at home and seem winnable, but they host the league leading Power in week 16
The
Golden Eagles win their eighth in a row while humiliating the Rodeo and defending the Tex Mex Bowl. this game was a no contest as the Rodeo manage to gain an Ultimate Legends all time low 29 yards of offense. embarrassing! Rodeo
RB Thomas Robles fumbles three times despite his 99 avoid fumble rating. Houston has gained a pathetic 87 yards from scrimmage in their last 2 games. there are rumors that the competition committee has been alerted. WR Darius Trinidad shines in the win with 177 YDs and a TD on 30 touches. the win clinches the M/CA division for Mexico City and they are currently the number 2 seed in the New World.....an amazing turnaround from the previous year
the
Power need the fourth quarter to defeat the Butchers and move to a leagues best 11-2.
QB William Cutting throws a game ending INT to
SLB John Ponce at mid field to end with 3 on the day. the Butchers have now lost their last 5 away games. it doesnt get any easier for them next week in Toyama
the
Pirates win their third straight after starting the season 0-9-1. this game does not start well at all for the Heroes.....their first play of the game results in a safety after being pinned at the one thanks to an amazing punt from
P Michael Gillen https://uro.myfootballnow.com/watch/1131#187889 the Heroes are now eliminated from the playoffs. it is the second shut out in a row for Shanghai
the
Jaguars win for just the third time this season. this one comes via shutout of the 86ers, who are still hoping for one more win to set a franchise high mark but have lost 4 in a row. neither team throws for > 100 yards
the
Deities mop up the Tide with a convincing victory. the loss eliminates the Tide and gives them their first sub 500 season in history.
RB Barry Wilson rushes for 3 TDs, a tie for for the record with 3 others. Cairo is favored to take care of the visiting Manta Rays next week, but they finish the season with 2 away games vs division foes with 10-3 records. the next three weeks in Africa will be intense. Africa currently has 3 representatives in the top 5 of the programs power rankings....very rare
the
Stampede stomp the Lions to reclaim the Jungle Cup.
WR Terry McDonald beats
CB Norbert Osgood on a quick slant and takes it 76 YDs for a TD early in the second quarter, notching Brazzaville their fifth straight
https://uro.myfootballnow.com/watch/1134#188432 they are in high gear for the final stretch. the Lions proficient run attack was held to just 26 YDs. the loss is a reality check in Lagos, who have fallen out of the second seed and have may have to win out to claim the Africa division
the
Zippers dethrone the Kings with an *** beating in Toyama to put them in the Old Worlds driver seat.
QB Wendall Yardley throws for 241 YDs and 3 TDs on just 23 pass attempts. Tel Aviv manages just 11 YDs rushing. the Kings are now 13-16 since placing
QB John Cromartie under in center over
QB Christopher "Goat" Silcox, who went 26-6. this had been pointed out to exhaustion by the Kings faithful. the Kings 4 wins this season are even more sad after knowing the combined winning record of their defeated opponents is just 8-30-1 (Pirates twice). several insiders are expecting the Kings to be aggressive in the off season
the
Bayhawks earn a yawnfest shutout in Guayaquil to stay on top in the USA division. the Tornadoes played the better game but
K Leon Vosss role reversed from last week as he misses his two chances at a FG including a 26 YD chip shot after a 62 yard drive in the fourth. the tragic life of a kicker, a hero one week and a scapegoat the next. the Tornadoes remain in the playoff hunt but may need to win out to do so, which will be tough to do with a week 16 date with the Gauchos in Buenos Aires
the
Guazues spoil the Prizefighters chance to clinch the Oceania division with an OT FG from
K Ray Finkle. Manila gains just 13 yards from their passing game which is more than likely an all time Ultimate Legends low mark. the loss is a damaging blow to the Prizefighters momentum who have dropped three of their last five at the wrong time. luckily for them, the Anchors next three games - including week 15 in Manila - are on the road, where they are 0-5
the
Strongbows defeat the Manta Rays, 9-3 to stay alive in the play off hunt. they will be rooting against the Deities the rest of the way as they are two games behind them. the remainder of their games are at home with a moderate schedule strength
K Christopher Rodriguez caps Yukons last two possessions with a FG, including the game winner as time expires as the
Dire Wolves upset the Gauchos to improve to 7-6 and take control of a wild card spot despite being outscored by 31 for the season. a huge win for them. many are convinced the Dire Wolves have the most jubilant fans in the league and it is hard to say otherwise after this game, Whitehorse Meadow recorded the loudest crowd noise in its history when the referees raised their arms. all varieties of bizarre behavior were observed in the parking lot before, during and after the game. the Gauchos lose two in a row and their grip on a first round bye....a big spoiler for legendary
QB Robert Williams return to under center
WR Booger McFly beats double coverage on a fly route and
QB Connor Manning puts one in the basket late in the fourth to send the match to OT.
https://uro.myfootballnow.com/watch/1140#189500the Anchors win the toss, kick a field goal and end the game with a defensive stand to move to 6-7 to stay alive in both the wild card race and the quest for Oceania supremacy. but, as mentioned before, they have a highly difficult remaining schedule. book makers have them on the outside looking in when the dust settles for the first time
K Leif Legg finishes Oxfords first 5 drives with a FG and that is all that is needed for the
Street Urchins to pull off the
upset of the week over division foe Athens. the Owls currently hold on to a first round bye but lose the grip on home field advantage. this was a big time pride win in for Oxford. to put it mildly, the teams in Europe dont share much affection for each other. this game will echo into next season
the
Spires defeat the Sharks to mark back to back victories and their third of the year. I was expecting Prague to turn the corner this year. league insiders expect them to add some power at guard to clear lanes for
RB Solomon Dodge. they also have an absolute need for some speed in their secondary - they have the slowest secondary in the league and are consistently at the bottom of yards allowed per pass attempt. they are 3-4 since 34 year old
HC Michael Gilbert was awarded the position
and lastly, the
Trident defeat the Kraken to create yet another jumble in the Canada division.....its every year with these guys. even though things are ultra competitive in the north, the teams manage to continue endearing displays of sportsmanship....a complete opposite compared to the Europe division. the Canadians are just so darned friendly
