no one-loss teams left after both the Power and the Owls lose. six teams are tied for best record at 8-2. the Rodeo and the Pirates both avoided a loss for the first time this season

the Kraken take the victory over the Guazues late with a FG from K Carey Evans. 2071s first pick MLB Truman "Show" Burbank strips RB Richard Ferrerira on his punt return attempt in the 2nd quarter which is returned for a Quebec TD. the win places Quebec on the inside track to the wild card and just one game behind the Power in the ever competitive Canada division. the loss gives jhoseph time to think about what changes need to be made next season because Rosario now needs a miracle to reach the postseason. Guazues HC Joshua Brewer seems comfortable.....he just had a large house built in Monte Flores and joined the country club

the Trident defeat the Owls to continue the curse of being number one in my power rankings. the Trident entered the fourth quarter down 9 but managed to score 10 which was capped by K Matthew Pierces FG with 1:50 remaining to earn the W. the win keeps the Trident in the hunt for a postseason berth while the Owls remain on top of the Europe division despite a relatively weak rush attack thus far

QB Cheekie - Fat Rascal has a highly efficient game and the Street Urchins are victorious over the Manta Rays. both teams need a lot of help to make the playoffs, especially the Street Urchins whos remaining opponents are a combined 41-19 with four of their six remaining games on the road. the loss is devastating to Jakartas hopes of making the playoffs for the first time, but they seem to be assembling a team that will be ready to compete in the near future but have been neglecting the talent pool of their offensive line......expect RB Jason Sullivan to get many more carries next season

the Strongbows win a big time game in Calgary. this one is decided in OT after Calgary K Terry Mendoza misses a game winning extra point wide right with 1:08 remaining in regulation. after winning the OT coin toss, Dublin executes an efficient drive which puts them in range for a FG courtesy of K Nicolas Richardson which Calgary is unable to answer. the loss is just the second for the Power who remain in control of their destiny in the New World while the win places Dublin one game out of the wild card

the Revolution return the favor of a weak 3 defeat by hosting a victory over Chicago in a showdown of USA division supremacy. the two teams split their games this season with a total score of 44-44.......an outstanding rivalry here in Ultimate Legends. both teams are now 6-4 and a half game behind the Bayhawks, who tied the Pirates.....not good for the Bayhawks but good for the Pirates. despite being 0-9-1, there is a lot of optimism from the Shanghai fans regarding RB Haruki Tanakas potential, but the consensus is there needs to be much more run block support for him to fully thrive. it will be interesting to see how the Pirates brass will approach the situation

the Rodeo win a game! Tide rookie QB James Coleman has a rough game.....he threw 6 INTs, one of which was returned 31 YDs for a game deciding TD by CB Robert Hancock, who had 2 INTs on the day. the loss is a new low for the Tide while the Rodeos win gives the number one pick in the upcoming draft to the Pirates for the time being

the Deities defeat division foe Johannesburg by the curious score of 11-5. the contest featured a safety from each team. 3rd year standout LDE Christian Barmore ties the all time Ultimate Legends single game record with 3 sacks (7 others). the Deities continue to win games despite an underwhelming offensive attack while their elite defense is still on pace to allow less than 100 points on the season (record is 105 by the 2071 Calgary Power). the 86ers fall to 4-6 with dim hopes of making the post season but will reach the 5 win mark for first time if they win another. the Deities keep a share of the lead in the Africa division. half of their remaining games are versus Lions/Stampede. week 15 (in Lagos) & 16 (in Brazzaville) are shaping up to be season defining games for them

QB Christopher "Goat" Silcox is emerging as the clear MVP favorite as he continues his twilight campaign with two early TD connections to lead the Lions over the Jaguars in the first meeting of big cats. Lagos next hosts the Street Urchins and then embark on a three game road trip to face each team of the Africa division. their last 5 games are all versus division opponents. after the match, Jaguars HC William Mack refused to answer questions regarding his future with the team on multiple occasions. the loss is the fourth in a row for Panama City and are all but eliminated from post season contention

RB Melvin Blankenships 105 YD kick off return (7th in career, increases his own all time record) to open the second is the deciding score for the Stampede as they handle the Bushmasters in San Jose. the loss is the third straight for the Bushmasters after a surprise 6-1 start. their remaining schedule consists of 3 strong opponents

the Golden Eagles win at home versus the Dire Wolves. the win is a league high 5 straight for Mexico City while the loss is two in a row for Yukon as they fall to 4-6. the Dire Wolves remaining schedule strength is above average and the bookies have them on the outside at seasons end. the Golden Eagles remaining schedule is among the softest in the league and they have a real chance at a first round bye after finishing a combined 5-26-1 over the last two seasons

Brisbane RB Jefferey Vernon fumbles on the first play from scrimmage and the Gauchos turn the gift into a TD and that is all they need to walk away as winners after hosting the Sharks. the loss is the third straight for Brisbane as they fall to 5-5. the Gauchos have all but wrapped up the South America division for the fourth time in four years of existence

the Anchors eliminate the Spires from postseason with a win in Auckland. the Anchors next three games (all home) seem winnable but their last three (all away) seem tough. a 3-3 record the rest of the way isnt going to get them in to the playoffs.....bookies have them missing out on postseason for first time

QB Walter McFadden connects with WR Cecil Valentine for two TDs in the 2nd quarter as the Tornadoes win their second in a row to improve to 4-6. the Choppers drop two in a row to fall to the same.neither team is expected to play in the post season. i am still in awe whenever i see Choppers future draft picks

FB Charles Rutherford breaks a tackle, gets some good blocking and takes a short pass 86 YDs to the bank in an away victory for the Zippers. the Heroes dropped their last two and are now two games out of the wild card

the Prizefigthers prove to be a rude hosts to the once mighty Kings after a shut out in Manila. Manila has a relatively soft schedule the rest of the way and are expected to claim their second consecutive Oceania division title. however, their last two games are versus the Anchors and the Sharks, so we may have some excitement there

Last season my guazues had a good team, very good defense, the best in interceptions and very good pressure on the QB, a good QB and acceptable receivers, a good KR, and a more than reliable K, but we suffered from a running attack that It did not work and that is why it was difficult for us to win games, this season despite not getting anything good in the off season, with a few tweaks the running game was improved a lot, but everything else fell to the bottom, the KR already had more of 1 fumble as our friend FRANK said, the K missed 4 extra points, the QB, makes very bad decisions, and worst of all the defense, although the aerial game is not so bad, we do not stop anything on the ground. And worst of all, I don't know who to blame anymore, haha.

We will do something to avoid losing what we achieved and recover what we had. Anyway, despite the sad record, almost in no matches were we far from the rival, we almost always lost on details, so I feel like I'm not that far away.
