Top 10The Kraken took a big gamble to trade up to the first overall pick trading away 2 1st round picks and a stud WR. They went with a LB with 68 volatility and he busted. So all they got in return was a good LB. The Kraken had 3 other picks and they all did well in camp and should make the team.
The Rodeo made several trades and were able to accumulate 17 draft picks. Including the 2nd overall pick. They drafted who they thought would be their franchise QB, even though they already had a very good QB who had some struggles early in his career, but has plenty of potential. They would immediately trade him to the Kings going all in on their new QB who would bust. The Rodeo now have 3 QBs but none of them should ever see the field. They also had both of their 2nd round picks bust. But they were able to pick up a solid WR in the 3rd. They drafted 6 offensive lineman in rounds 3 and 4. We will have to wait and see if any of them will become starters. The Rodeo will have a really tough year and still only have 44 players on the roster.
The Heroes had a much better draft as 6 of their 7 picks got better in training camp. The only player to bust was the 3rd overall pick and he will still be a very good WR.
The 86ers had a great draft. The 4th overall pick busted but he will still be a good LB. They got a steal in the 2nd round with a new starting QB, and they got 3 starting offensive lineman in the 4th, 5th, and 7th rounds. The 86ers now have a crowded QB room and might be looking to trade one. I know the Rodeo could use one of them.
The Spires got a new RT with the 5th pick. They also took a QB in the 2nd round but he busted and looks like he might be capable of starting but is better suited for a backup role.
The Golden Eagles had 2 1st round picks the first was a LB taken at 6 then traded to the Kraken after a bad training camp. Then at 17 they were able to get one of the best DEs in the league.
The Pirates were the first team to take a player who got better in training camp. The took the first of 5 1st round RBs.
The Prizefighters got a stud CB with the 8th pick. The got a decent Tackle in round 2 but he has already been put on the trade block. They were also able to get a good LB in the 4th.
The Bushmasters didn't get so lucky with their RB but he will still be a decent player. They also picked up 2 defensive players in the 2nd round that were too slow for everyone else but the Bushmasters must think that the rest of their attributes will make up for it. They were able to find a decent DT in round 5.
The Lions got a very good offensive lineman with the 10th pick and got some good luck with their 3rd round TE who is now on the trade block.
Best of each roundRound 1.22 Deities QB John Marquez. There were a lot of players I could have gone with but he was the only starting QB taken in round 1.
Round 2.4 86ers QB Steve Williams. Same as the first round except he was the best QB taken in the draft. The Deities also got a very good QB in round 2.
Round 3.11 Lions TE Bruno Benz. Went +12 in training camp but is not as fast as you would like from a TE. I really wanted to pick someone else because of that but he had the best training camp out of all the 3rd round picks.
Round 4.32 Dire Wolves K Christopher Rodriguez. He turned out to be a perfectly rated kicker which the Anchors used 2.1 to try and get but the Dire Wolves got the best kicker almost 3 rounds later.
Round 5.30 Kings LT Paul Miller. He went +15 and will be a good starting offensive lineman.
Round 6.29 Jaguars WR Justin Adams. He is too slow to be effective but he went +11 in camp and should make a roster. 2 other 6th round WRs are in the same situation, but Adams was taken later than the other two.
Round 7.4 86ers LT Hubert Bowling. It looks like he wasn't drafted as a tackle as he currently weighs in at 275. He went +8 and has plenty of room to get better and will probably be a future starter. The 86ers definitely found a diamond in the rough.
