The Stampede finally beat the Lions after losing their first 3 matchups. Brazzaville was lucky to get a 3rd kickoff returned for a TD this season by Melvin Blankenship. This win gives the Stampede a 3 game lead in the division.
The Kings were able to take advantage of the Choppers giving them the ball an extra 6 times with 4 INTs, a fumble, and a safety. The Kings remain undefeated but the Zippers are still just 1 game back after beating the Gauchos this week.
The Anchors are trying to keep the rest of the division in it by surprisingly losing to the Deities this week. The Anchors still have a 1 game lead but they keep the door open for the Sharks and Prizefighters who both win this week.
The 86ers beat the Mountaineers in the battle for draft position. The Mountaineers have now lost 6 in a row after a good start. They have been shut out 2 weeks in a row.
The Revolution and Bayhawks are in a division in which all teams are separated by 2 games. So this was a very big game for both teams, The Bayhawks were very lucky to get their 2nd tie of the season. The Revolution missed a 27 yard FG at the end of the 4th to go into OT. They also missed a 54 yard FG at the end of OT.
The Dire Wolves and Trident are also in a division separated by 2 games. They also tied.
The Power and Butcher were in a tight game until the 4th quarter where the Power put up 21 helped by a pick 6 and a kickoff return for a TD.
The Tide keep the pressure on the Jaguars with a 31 point performance over the tornadoes. The Jaguars put up 28 on the Golden Eagles with 7 FGs. The Tide and Jaguars are seperated by just 1/2 a game. They play each other in a big game next week.
The defending champion Strongbows took an embarrassing loss to the Bushmasters, and the Owls took advantage with a win over the Street Urchins. The Owls took over first place in the Europe division.
