the Rosario Guazues incredible postseason has come to an end. after entering the postseason as the New Worlds #7 seed they managed to defeat the #2 seed and then the #1 seed. what a great run! however the 2093 regular season was a step back for them as they failed to win the South America division for the first time since 2089. their passing attack is still among the leagues best but has dropped off a bit from their dominate years. it is expected that they add some talent at the WR to recapture the magic. QB Robert Simpson has now thrown for at least 2500 yards in 6 consecutive seasons

the Shaghai Pirates season was impressive......accomplishing a 12-4 record in Asia requires a strong team. it is rumored that they will look to add to their RB corps in the offseason after being outgained on the ground in 2093. they have some money to spend in free agency and have all but their 4th round pick. surprisingly, they have not had an RB with 1000+ yds and a 4.6+ average in franchise history. RB Kevin Woods has started his career with 4 consecutive 1000 yard seasons but does not have the break away speed to make game deciding plays. according to my calculations an RB with 87+ speed is the missing piece needed to join their mostly intact roster from their 2090 championship season
