its been a bit since i did power rankings. cant say ill be doing them every week, but here is where we are at after 9 games in 2092

1. Strongbows - only undefeated team says enough. every other team has at least two Ls
2. Lions - defending champs have a clear path to winning their division and are playing well after a tough loss in Jakarta
3. Kraken - they are 2nd in yards per game on both sides of the ball. Perez & Nowell are in high gear
4. Zippers - having a 7-2 record is tough to do in Asia. both their losses are from the division
5. Tornadoes - a home loss is a speed bump after a rocket start for them. the fourth and last team on this list to yet allow 100 points
6. Pirates - they are just 1.5 seasons removed from their improbable championship run and hold a 6-3 record in the loaded Asia division. just pulled off a convincing 20 point victory in Chicago, Butchers worse home loss since 2089
7. Macaws - currently riding a 4 game win streak, second longest in the league
8. Butchers - barely make the list over the Sharks. they look to rebound during their two game homestand versus two formidable opponents

What an honor to see the Macaws making the Power 8!
Let just hope we can cope with the injuries suffered last week and keep the winning streak alive.

1. Strongbows - Dublins finest lead the league in both points scored and points allowed while remaining undefeated. they have a 50/50 chance of going 16-0........either they will or they wont! i hope they do. big test next game hosting the Zippers
2. Kraken - Quebec is becoming a force in the New World. they have the inside track to the 1 seed and are in high gear. they are tied for most points scored and lead in yards from scrimmage
3. Lions - a curious loss to an unmanned divison rival has sparked some question marks, yet they are 7-3 and are still holding the gold
4. Macaws - hot win streak extends to 5 after a visit to hapless Nanook. concerns on defense are being tested next week while hosting the Kraken
5. Butchers - Chicago snuffs a late game attempt at victory from the Heroes to get back into the win column. they havent had a losing season since 2072. that was 20 seasons ago
6. Zippers - another divisional loss puts them at 2-3 in Africa
7. Sharks - enter the Sharks! a big road win vs the previoulsy ranked Pirates propels them into the power 8
8. Tornadoes - drop three spots after a tough loss in Auckland. they hope to avoid a third consecutive loss but are heading into Chicago
