not sure if this has ever happened before........ but we have reached the last week of the season and not a single Old World wild card is locked. meanwhile Rajkot needed just 11 wins to put home seed in the bag
so basically Old World playoffs start in week 16. at this point i do not believe there is a difference between a regular season game or a playoff game for these 6 teams except 2 of them are playing teams who will play again regardless of outcome
these six teams are eligible for the three wild card spots:
1.
Heroes 9-6 and 2.
Lions 8-7 play each other in Lagos
3.
Anchors 9-6 and 4.
Pirates 8-7 play each other in Shanghai (fun matchup of team names)
5.
Zippers 8-7 travel to Cairo for a match against the unmanned Africa division champion (how?) Deities
6.
Prizefighters 8-7 look to wake up from their nightmarish 4 game skid at home vs the Oceania division winning Manta Rays
it is possible we will have 6 teams that are 9-7. both the Heroes & Anchors are win and in. i think head to head is first tie breaker and then conference record
2090 marks the first division championship for
Jakarta. congrats to
OutlawJustice and his
Manta Rays!!!!
edit: actually 7 teams could be 9-7
Strongbows are locked in already
