I'll edit post as I go.

Amazing camp for Manila.

QB is the guy who touches the ball every play and while they rarely get injured it can be a disaster if they do. Manilas backup is in his 11th year and as I often do I start taking swings at project replacements on the cheap. Simonson was a big hit and would probably be a franchise QB on most teams though he'll be the ultimate insurance policy in Manila. The price tag? A lowly mid 4th rounder.

RB has to be able to move the chains and Manila has old farts that were entering an ungraceful decline at 7 and 11 seasons. Greens painful speed wall hit landed him with 62 speed, making him pretty much useless. Thankfully Manila took a swing to replace these aging vets with the last pick of the 5th round and hit in Martin. Martin boasts 84 speed while being overweight and excellent pass blocking likely to max. His ball carrying only reached 63 which will limit his role but speed and QB protection is enough to give him the rb3 role.

At FB we took a 7th round flyer that went 0/-14. He has a knockout bounty on sight so his name shall not be mentioned here.

At TE Manila was in trouble with only a 12 year declining vet on the roster. In comes David Moody. He was originally pegged for ol due to having 50 speed but when that's what you got it's what you got. His b&r is pretty low but he's good everywhere else except speed. He'll provide a strong blocking presence and strong hands even if not able to create wide open windows.

Manila had 4 9th year vets at wr. A youth with speed was a must, and few can hold a candle to Paul Hendersons blazing speed or his linemanesque strength. Then he boomed and his blue bar talent could surpass his speed. Did I mention he has 77 kick return too. He made Manila look genius going with a huge risk late in round 2.

OL was a huge weakness for Manila with just 7 players on the team 1 eyeing retirement and several who were stopgap at best. As such Manila invested 4 picks at the position. Early second rounder Michael Mitchell disappointed. While still having great physical talent and 72 pass blocking he's still capable as a backup but not at the levels Manila hoped. Late 4th rounder Albert Lucius failed completely and was sent home with walking papers shortly after drills finished. From the darkness came light! Two 3rd rounders boomed to their full potential! Both Brian Pittman and Thomas Hintz look to be starters for a long time.

DL like the rest of the roster boasted some elder statesman. Manila had high hopes for 2nd rounder Robert Thompson but he let them down in spectacular fashion. Manila is a meritocracy and his second round status couldn't save him here, he was instantly fired. Derrick Davis was an afterthought for most due to his 44 speed at DT but all his other skills showed promise... and unlike loser Thompson he made good on it. He showed that even in the last pick of the 6th round heart can make it.

At LB Mr Irrelevant is suddenly very relevant. Hidden at DE and heavy even there Manila still saw potential in non DL skills and drafted him to play lb instead and he rewarded their faith. He may not have starter speed but he's smart and reliable in coverage. It took to the last pick and a position change but he found himself on a team where he's likely to have a long career.

One can never have enough DBs. Manila firmly believe in this and took a shot in the late 2nd round on Donald Farris. He made good. Not a blazer he makes his plays with savvy. He'll be a long term asset for Manila.

The only position group that Manila didn't draft was K (for obvious reasons).

The only position that totally failed was FB.

Manila did not have a first round pick and 2 of it's four 2nd rounders busted.

Manila had 9 booms and 4 busts. Of the busts 3 were cut busts.

Manila sacrificed 2 firsts, a second, a third, and a fourth to get the picks over the next two seasons for this massive class. Manila fully deems it worth it already.

Here is news from Rajwadi camp……

Rajwadi had many picks in crucial draft….they start with what is expected of Rajwadi - lots of active movements of roster

Rajwadi was set at QB with M.Taylor at helm as not spectacular but efficient Game Manager….but GM show chance to add QB to change the vertical game and Traded for Tom Hanks by overpaying 1st round and 2nd round picks…..creating QB competition in hope to ignite the offense…right now both QB has moved to positive gain creating good healthy problem for coaches..showing they are preparing for deep playoff run this year but then comes 2 aggressive moves with future in mind

Rajwadi traded Star CB in prime for future 1st plus traded their half of the draft for 2 future 1st round…..this trades added future picks but left with 7 picks only for Rajwadi in this year draft

Here is how our rookies fared in camp

1-5 Beezo Ramage, SS…..Rajwadi never expected him to be on board but Star aligned and he is now Rajwadi….LSU Star came with lots of expectations and he did not disappointed at all….he showed that he is read to lead this defense for years to come….He is going to be force in the middle of the field.

1-9 Rajwadi management was split on this pick between G.Jones, db vs W.Ward,LB/DE….due to need and position preference went with G.Jones out of Miami…..He was star player from college with blazing speed…but had some reality check in camp and had some learning moments leading to slight regress on overall potential but we still see him forming tandem with Beezo to lead this secondary for longtime.

2-4 Gerald Hines TE ….he was originally on our board as the mid 2nd round due to lack of elite speed but as we are run first team with positional need once we trade all our 2nd and 3rd round picks for future picks we decided to grab him at 2-4 as bit of reach but he is no nonsense kid who just ignore all chatter and went to work hard to prove his selection….he turned in fabulous camp and will be our starting TE/FB for longtime

We tried to get into 3rd round to pick Harold Burditt the kid from Texas whom we loved all along but never materialized and we congratulated him with his selection as Jakarta Rays.

Once we missed out on Harold we went deep in our board to pick complimentary players ans with 5-10 pick we acquired in trade we picked Rene Stephen’s LB out of Illinois. Very soon in camp our coaches saw him as twiner so we moved him as undersized DE and he took the challenge in right spirit…he will earn spot as backup LB/ RDE with chance to start eventually

Our 2nd 5th round pick was S.Goldstien speedster to add depth at WR and RB….he did not improve at all actually he regressed a little but will be given chance to catch spot at 5th WR abd 4th RB.

In the 6th round our scouting team reached deep as we picked N.Davis as conversion project from FB/TE in college to LG in pro….he has been working diligently and have shown ability to become backup G but we will need to be patient with him as he learn the game in year or so ….overall good pick

In 7th round we went small school route to pick E. Holmes, CB…he has decent speed but great acceleration and he does not mind punishing WR to break their route…he will find place as 5th Cb with chance to improve on his ranking…

Overall decent draft that yielded us 3 starter, 2 future starter/solid backup and 2 backups plus we gained future picks too along with QB Tom Hanks (hope is same as Bucs signing Tom Brady)

What you all think of Rajwadi draft…..bring your honest comments

Ramage and Haines are A+ players. The CB is iffy given his blue bars and bust level. The others I'm not a fan. Solid Draft overall due to the 2 big hits.
