4 games left and the entire Asia division is separated by 1 game. The Europe division has 3 teams within 1 game. The new world has 7 teams at 5-7 and most likely one of them will get a wild card spot. The old world has 2 wild card spots and 2 divisions up for grabs with 9 teams in good position to get a spot in the playoffs.
It's hard to tell after the first few teams who the contenders are. The last few spots in the top 10 I have half the league to choose from.
I just thought it was interesting the Polar Bears are 28th in the MFN power rankings but if the season ended today they would be in the playoffs.
The Butchers being number 1 was based on having more success last season than the Prizefighters. This season they are undefeated but only have 1 win against an above average team the Owls in week 2. They will get tested the next couple weeks with the Power and Bushmasters.
The Prizefighters have 5 quality wins to the Butchers 1.
I guess I forgot to update last game. Looks like we won't have any undefeated teams this season. I was very tempted to put the Stampede at 1 but the Prizefighters and Butchers have done enough to keep their spots. I don't know what the other teams are doing but I am resting my starters with nothing left to play for. I started them last week just because I hate losing to the Lions.
Rajwadi again made playoffs but rumors are that the owner and GM along with fan based is restless and unhappy with their 2nd in row 9-7 outing so expect big changes in offseason.
Only direction now is down for my team. After a rough off-season free agency exodus courtesy of take over backups refusing to resign I expect to struggle next season.
Lions at #5? pfffft......that is pure blasphemy. got half our road games out of the way in the first four games and are 1 of the 2 undefeated teams...looking forward to settling it on the field in the game of the week :)
