the Europe and Canada divisions seem to be the toughest. the Strongbows remain the only undefeated team even with their number one pick RB Left Lane Jones being stored in bubble wrap on a shelf in the equipment locker. the Battle for Wales is an intense pairing

not an active trade market here in Ultimate Legends ....a bit surprising....was expecting more aggression

QB Brandon Watts leads the Bushmasters to an 0-8 record with an average of 2.8 yards per pass attempt and a 31.2 completion percentage. check out this pathetic drive chart from week 7 vs Tijuana https://uro.myfootballnow.com/box/143

the big question with Watts is if the playing time he is being given will lead to long term improvement. data and trends suggest his accuracy concerns will limit his ability to succeed in a competitive league. San Jose MLB Rudolph Drayton (absolute monster, btw) is the leader of the team and has expressed concern to media outlets several times. he alludes that horrible completion percentage leads to major disadvantages in time of possession. Bushmasters defense is allowing an incredible 352 yards from scrimmage. the gap between the Bushmasters and the Stampede (31st in yards allowed) is the same as the gap between the Stampede and the Mountaineers, who are ranked 10th.

the Watts led Bushmasters are expected to go winless and receive the first pick in 2070....lets all hope a stud QB with great pass accuracy ratings will be waiting there for them to right the ship to save us all from watching the train wreck over and over

i attempted to conjure up a few names for midway MVP consideration.....try it out....too many canoes in the pool. will revisit the topic later, but at this point i give midseason MVP to Kings QB Christopher Silcox

according to my extensive research, yards per carry and turnover margin are two vital stats for a winning team in MFN RO. as of week 8, the nine teams who have an average of 3.2+ yards per carry have a combined record of 44 - 28. the eight teams with a +4 turnover margin have a combined record of 44-20. the two teams that have both 3.2+ yards per carry and +4 turnover margin (shot out to Bayhawks & Gauchos) are a combined 13-3

speaking of turnovers.....both Anchors QB Connor Manning & Zippers RB Gilbert Hight have fumbled ten times. in eight games

and speaking of yards per carry....Revolution RB Hotcakes Sampson is only rusher with plus 4 yards per carry and over 100 attempts despite his underwhelming speed

the Athens Owls limit their opponents rushing to 33 yards per game (1st) yet allow 211yards passing per game (31st)

there are 5 teams in the top ten of both offense and defense....Lions, Revolution, Butchers, Zippers & Gauchos. their combined record is just 22-18

Power Rankings

Top 8

1. Strongbows
2. Street Urchins

8. Owls

Bottom 4

Good read, a bit harsh on the Bushmasters to have them ranked 31 and 32!

I'm not sure why my Team calls some of the plays it does, but oh well..lol. I have no control over that.

I have 30 players with three or less years of experience-
9 players in year 4-
8 players in year 5-
3 players with 6/7 years experience-

My hope is that my players start to jell in the system that was handed them and with some tweaking of the roster next season, will consistently compete for the Playoff spot.

I'm in the same boat, too young to compete.

we have a very young roster as well and while we are quite competitive I look forward to see the team coming into their own. I dont see it as a huge factor because so many are in the same position with inexperienced players all making learning mistakes
