we will have a first time Ultimate Showdown winner. neither game was sold out......strange
the Bayhawks score touchdowns on their first two drives and go on to crush the Gauchos. QB Klondike Klopp goes nuts with 368 passing yards and 3 TDs. the Gauchos converted a couple of turnovers into short field TDs in the second quarter to keep it close but that was as close as they could get. the San Francisco defense limited the Gauchos to just 73 scoreless yards of offense in the second half and move on to the franchises second appearance in the Ultimate Showdown
the Lions hold the Stampede to just 122 yards of offense and walk away with shiniest Jungle Cup yet. RB Sherrif Thompsons fumble in the first quarter set the Stampede up with a short field but they were unable to punch it into the end zone after a very controversial ruling on the field. it appeared that RB David Garner was able to break the plain on a 3rd down run from the 1 yard line but the ruling on the field stood after determining there wasnt enough evidence to overturn the call. this set up K Arturo Bryant with the shortest FG possible. the decision to kick the FG as opposed to going for it was also controversial.....even the announcers were wondering why HC Daniel Champagne didnt try to take control of the game early in a hostile environment. many Stampede players seemed disappointed. when asked about it after the game Champagne simply stated "how was i supposed to know that we werent going to score again?" the Lions went on to control the clock with an impressive 50 rushing attempts and a couple TD passes from first year starter QB C.J. Calloway puts them into their second consecutive Ultimate Showdown
Normally I would be very optimistic after such a game/season. But frank is something like my kryptonite in bowls. I don't remember ever winning a bowl game against you and there were definitely a few in RO leagues.

cheers to a good match and may the best team win. To me it seems like Bayhawks have the momentum but not sure how much momentum matters here in MFN. Lions RB Sherrif Thompson has been fumbling too much and Lions starting center is out. Its strange to me that we are not told location of the big game until after
