The QB Never Runs

Someone tried to train and put RB's QB to run, I never saw a QB run with the ball, which happens a lot in the NFL.
For it to happen you have to put it also in the RB spot or does that not happen in this game?

I had a QB who would run like 3-4 times a season. He had a weak arm, very small field of view, and excellent speed, acceleration, and ball carrying.

There was a rollout play that was generally the one he would run on, and the coverage generally looked very good when it happened.

But this was several game engines ago. When he ran it was also super effective. So it may have been removed for being too effective when it happens.

QB scrambling isn't in this game engine (yet). It is included in the BETA engine leagues (MFN-1, Victory, Legends and Franchise Football) the latter is roster only.

I admin Victory, Legends and FF.

There are still no 'designed' QB runs, but QB's can occasionally scramble away from pressure.

When I've got more time, I'll post up some links to plays when it happens - it's a nice addition and maybe will lead to some run option plays and QB sneaks/dives.

JDB is currently working on the User Interface, which is taking longer than expected and then will switch his attention back to game development.

That's much better in BETA now (OL and DL) they are now key components in a team and playing to trade values. Teams have to be balanced in BETA because speed is much less important - still key but you can't be one dimensional.

The main issue with BETA was passing, but as teams have improved the protection of the QB they are able to dink'n'dunk downfield - slow developing plays will kill you though.
