A first for the Gauchos

The team announced big changes for the teams coaching staff. Firing Head Coach Justin Ross after 11 seasons running the team. Defensive Coordinator Harvey Lloyd was promoted to the position with promises of past success returning to the team. The remaining staff saw DB coach Kenneth Nixon being promoted to DC while 6 new faces will be joining the team as well. These moves were expected after the team finished with its worst record in team history (4-12-0). Marking the 4th straight season missing the post season. Coach Ross did make the playoffs 6 times including 4 division crowns. Rumors of ownership change, and relocation talks was put to rest, and it was made clear Buenos Aires would be the home of the Gauchos for many years to come.
