2101 Draft Grades
by awest827 @ 10/10/2026 1:38 pm
I won't normally do this but I had some time this morining and thought you all might like some draft grades. I skipped a few teams that don't have full time or active owners.

Best draft Trident/Butchers A+
Worst draft Praetorians D-

Anchors C: 3/7. They added a decent DT in the first who I consider to be a JAG (just a guy) not a real difference maker, a speedy backup LB in the 3rd who may struggle in coverage. Lastly, they got a great value WR in the 5th round.

Fire Dragons: A- 5/7 with the 3rd overall pick they got an absolute stud of a DE. They got a JAG DT in the 2nd, and a good starting caliber OL in the 3rd. In the 4th they added a backup safety with good coverage his speed is a liability. In the 5th they added a backup CB who can’t guard M2M. They need to cut their 7th round QB as his low pass accuracy makes him useless.

Stampede: A- 2/5 They got a great DE in the 1st. They also added an absolute steal of an OL in the 4th round, who is a future starter and long snapper. They traded away their 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Gauchos: A+ 6/9 Great draft as they added their new starting RB, DE, LT, FS, and quality backup DE and WR. All in the top 4 rounds. Well done Damean it doesn’t get much better than that.

Deities: B- 3/7 They got a future starting OL. A backup FS and a DB who has great skills but is a little slow for a starter. It you plan on starting Curl at SS please change his position from CB to SS.

Butchers: A+ 5/10 They absolutely crushed this draft adding a stud SS with the first overall pick and a stud LB with the 26th pick. They added an incredible blocking FB in the 2nd round. He may have some ball security issues, but his blocking makes up for it. They added a starting caliber DE and LT in the 3rd. The Butchers roster is so good they don’t even need them to start. Their picks in rounds 4-7 can make a roster somewhere but the Butchers roster is likely too good for them to make this team.

Strongbows: D 2/4 They added 2 backup LBs one was in the 5th round the other a first round bust.

Tornadoes B+: 4/11 I added 2 starting LBs plus a backup LB and a future starting RB. It’s always great to come out with 3 starters but it hurts to draft 3 QBs who could have been the future face of the franchise and they all bust.

Macaws: B- 6/9 They added a starting OL and DE. They also added 4 guys in the later rounds who could make the team. They are currently listed as starters, but I assume that is just for the preseason.

Manta Rays: C- 1/6 They hit a home run with the 4th overall pick getting a stud TE. They added a great punter in the 3rd round but cut him before TC, so I picked him up for the Bobcats.

86ers: C 4/8 They added a couple of average starters at DT and FS as well as 2 backups at DE and RB. Side note I really hope they don’t plan on starting parker or Hayes at RB again. Coming off back-to-back average seasons on the verge of the playoffs you can’t be rostering a RB with 50 speed much less starting him.

Lions D: 2/7 They added a great backup RB who busted but could be a starter if the Lions weren’t so efficient already at RB. They also added a great run blocking guard in the 4th round. Just hope he doesn’t have to pass block. Good news for the Lions is they don’t plan to pass more than 15 times a game.

Armada: B+ 5/7 They got a future starting QB and OL. They also added backups at WR, RB and LB.

Revolution: C- 5/7 They got a great run stopping DT in the 1st. As a 1st round pick you would like if he could provide something in the way of pass rush though. They also added 4 uninspiring backups.

Kraken: B: 4/7 They got a can’t miss incredible SS with the 2nd overall pick. They also got a decent starting LB in the 2nd round. They also got a JAG starter at FB in the 4th round and a diamond in the rough backup QB in the 7th round.

Rajwadi: A 10/14 Of course having the most picks Rajwadi came out with the most roster able players as well although only 3 or 4 are starting caliber. They found a starting RG, DT and WR. The 4th guy who could potentially be a starter is their 5th round FB who can block well and not fumble. They also picked up a LB, RB, WR, and 3 DBs who should be rostered by somebody and could be used as backups for the Rajwadi.

Praetorians: D- 1/6 With no first round pick their only useable player was their 2nd round pick WR who is a solid starter. But a solid starting WR doesn’t move the needle in this league.

Guazues: B- 4/5 with the 13th pick they added a solid starting SS. They added a decent QB in the 2nd round who had a good preseason as is ready to start day 1 if needed. In the 4th round they added a run stopping DE as well as a roster able RB.

Nanooks: A 4/5 They added a very good starting LB in the 1st and a solid starting LB in the 3rd as well as a solid starting safety in the 2nd. They also found a roster able RB in the 7th.

Pirates: C- 2/6 They picked up 2 backup RBs and a TE who busted who is probably better off being converted to RB. They also drafter a RB in the 7th round who they cut who would be a starter for the 86ers.

Zippers: C+ 3/5 Similar to the Pirates they got 2 backup RBs in the first 2 rounds who could be starters. They also got a backup safety in the 4th.

Heroes: B 5/8 They continue to load up on offensive skill players adding an absolute stud WR in the 1st round they have no use for as well as a great TE and another pretty good WR. They also got a backup DT and a backup RG. Unfortunately, they completely ignored what is possibly the worst secondary and LB rooms in the league. This team is in desperate need of some trades.

Trident: A+ 7/9 Great draft everything worked out for the Trident. They grabbed a great LB in the 1st. 2 backup RBs who would start for some teams but won’t be used anytime soon for this team. They also got 4 CBs who are quality depth for now.

Dire Wolves: B+ 4/5 They got a great starting DE in the 1st and a solid starting LB in the 2nd. They also got a backup DE and a backup FS who I really wish was a backup as he is too slow but it looks like they don’t have anyone better.
