I had a busy week and wasn't able to do the snapshot for a few sim weeks, that could happen sometimes. With the break It feels more natural to start the power rankings now.
1 Lions lost to the Strongbows this week but bad games happen and they are the reigning champs.
2 Rajwadi undefeated and putting up very impressive numbers with probably the most talented team but it's too early for me to forget about 4-12.
3 Tornadoes just barely get jumped by the Rajwadi due to the defense being inconsistent this season taking a bad loss to the Gauchos.
4 Butchers had an acceptable loss to the Kraken and a decent win over the Strongbows who I believe is better than their record would indicate.
5 Bushmasters had a bad loss to the Bayhawks and a decent win over the Macaws.
6 Sharks had a good win over the Trident but a bad loss to the Prizefighters. BigL has his teams traditionally average but is looking good this season. The Sharks get a big test vs the Lions this week.
7 Pirates it was a tough start to the season but they have now won their last 4 with their 2 losses coming to the Lions and Rajwadi.
8 Heroes had a tough 3 game stretch taking losses to the Rajwadi and Pirates before beating the Zippers.
Biggest result of the week the Lions assert their dominance at least in the box score over the Sharks who drop 2 spots.
Heroes took another loss to the Macaws in a tough stretch of games and have dropped out of the top 8 making room for the Trident.
The unowned golden eagles get their first win in a battle for the first overall pick over the Dire Wolves. Except the Trident own the Dire wolves first rounder and next years 2nd rounder. The Dire wolves must have thought they were a DE away from at least a division title. Though Charles Young immediately went back on the trade block. In 7 games he has 2 sacks and 0 hurries. The Dire Wolves have the worst pass rush in the league this season, and the worst record. I think it's safe to say the Trident won that trade.
Lagos fans are thrilled Lions keep the top spot considering there are 5* teams with 1 loss or less that have outscored opposition by 100. lots of cream in this crop
HC Dustin Bonilla however doesnt care much about it however.. said he doent give a rats a$$
Nothing changed this week as far as the top 8. The teams I probably would have had at 9 and 10 the Heroes and Macaws got soundly beat by the Rajwadi and Pirates.
Is it time to panic for the Revolution, defending new world champions? The division is all but lost and there are 7 teams ahead of them for the wild card. They just picked up a year 16 QB Michael Taylor. Possiblity to replace the struggling first year starter Brian Puente.
Butchers fall one spot after a tough loss to the Bobcats. We'll see how long that lasts as the Bushmasters who jumped them face the undefeated Rajwadi next week and they might be getting their RBs back.
The Pirates have clearly shown they are not in the same tier as the Rajwadi and Lions but I don't see another team who deserves the 8th spot at this time. In the Pirates 3 losses they have been outscored 103-6. But that's against the 2 best teams and they beat everyone else they've played.
We had some huge games this week and we have a number one. Rajwadi have shown me enough dominance this season that I can forget about that 4-12 team.
My Tornadoes also got a big win over the Champs. Moving the Lions to 3rd in my rankings.
Bushmasters have shown they can be very competitive with the top 3 with 2 very close losses to the Tornadoes and Rajwadi that's no reason to move down in my rankings
The Sharks also took a loss to the Manta Rays but the Pirates barely escaped the worst team in the league so I can't reward that
Rajwadi is not happy to be ranked #1 as we were having fun time being out of spotlight
Hope we will able to accept new responsibilities of being #1 but time shall decide as we are not Lions, Tornadoes, Butchers, Bushmasters and many of consistent leader on power ranking.
