I have a question regarding the game; perhaps you can clarify it. I have 3 RDEs on the team because I've seen that formations with 2 are frequently used, as well as FB and TE. In case of an injury, there is already a suitable substitute for the position. I've had the experience of forgetting to list the kicker for field goals; at the time I had 2, one for kickoffs and another for field goals. During the game, the offensive lineman kicked, and he even made all 3 kicks he attempted. So, the question is, if there's no player listed for the position, who plays?

MFN has a long way to go. not sure why program cant figure out to put a kicker in for kicking duties if no one is in field goal kicker slot. seems elementary to me, but what do i know?........ i could never make a game like this....... i mean i guess i could but id have to learn a lot

to answer your question, i am not sure. the program decides somehow. i assume it favors which ever player has best rating according to weights, but that would mean in the situation you described a K would have been put in unless you use your kicker weights for something else. example: Lions almost always have one kicker on the roster, but there are three different weights for kickers.....there is 1) K 2) Kickoffs & 3) Field Goal Kicker......so i use K weights for my kickers and the other two for specific types of players the Lions like to hire

that very question you asked is why i am contemplating minimum position rules. for example, if i had just one RB on team, i figure weights could be adjusted to force program to play a 93 speed WR as RB2. someone who was really pushing boundaries could try to have just one RB who is likely to get injured and then adjust RB weights to favor speedy WRs. ive never attempted to replicate this strategy, just trying to prevent anyone from doing so since the way the rules are currently written left that window of opportunity open. current rules only state "all players in RB slot must be an RB"

or we could simply not have minimum requirements at all and hope that no one tries to do this
