There is a new admin feature with the new website. With the new website position changes are very restricted that can be changed by the admin. I think in the off-season we should still be allowed to change positions. The position change matrix allows the admin to control which positions we are allowed to move a player to.
Changes I suggest

Any player can be a gunner, ST blocker or ST rusher

A QB can be changed to RB and a RB can be changed back to a QB.

Any offensive player can be moved to any other offensive position with the exception of QB

Any defensive player can be moved to any defensive position.

All of this only applies to the new website and only during the off-season
