i was close to choosing Wells since he led in sacks by a large margin and was one off lead the in hurries. also weve never had a defensive MVP and thought since there was no clear standouts on offense maybe it was time to change that. but then i remembered Dixons first half. he owned it. so i gave him the nod for that. even after removing postseason appearance from the equation i put his season above Russells. Dixons stellar performance in week 16s do or die was a nice endcap for him

Ramirez had a spectacular season, he carried the team on his shoulders, and if he hadn't missed the last two games due to injury, he probably would have broken the passing yardage record and we probably would have won that last game and been the number one seed.
