just noticed something interesting with my 4 time Ultimate Showdown champion QB MAxwell Ritter, who has never thrown for more than 10 TDs or more than 2000 yards in a season

on his progrees graph i can see that his overall rating dipped and then went back up again. i have never seen that before. its not by much, but it is against the the trend of players working up to their peak and then declined to age

any one else seen that before or have examples? or are those graphs based off of our own personal weights? either way i dont recall changing my QB weights

Ritter is gonna end up with a statue even tho he doesnt have the stats.....4 time winner is a lock. i wish palyers had an accolades page

Yes I have seen slight declines, sometimes on a week by week basis, even though the overall trajectory is up.

It's not so severe, but between 2095 Training Camp and Preseason Game 1, there was a dip in future rating (by my rankings).

Maybe it's not exactly what you're looking for though.

i see. thank you. interesting stuff. maybe it is more common than i know of.....i dont look at them much at all......i look at coaches progress charts more often tho

btw i see his current rating (game 7) as 90.473....so if you see same then that means its not measured by weights

Yeah it depends on weights then. I also see different numbers than both of you.

Yea I think it's just that certain players keep increasing their maxes for different amounts of time. Some players boom fast and stop and some seem to steadily improve. And if it's in a stat that is extremely important to their rating (in Ritter's case I'm guessing passing accuracy) then it can make up for the attributes that decline with age that don't matter as much for the position

Still looking forward to that Maxwell Ritter a football life

maybe i can make an ai video!!! :D dude is prototypical field marshall

Maxwell "Happy Max" Ritters best games are the ones where he has less than ten passs attempts. as with all Lions QBs, the idea is to not throw the ball...........until whenever the game engine changes. i like it this way.....like football in the freakin 1930s when forward passing was first introduced

they call it smashmouth football. Lions love smashing mouths. we also love getting our mouths smashed in, but not nearly as much

after some quick research actual AI told me forward pass was introduced in 1906 and Theodore Roosevelt himself insisted on it

also got this nugget from AI. AI is wrong often tho so watch out for that

"In 1934, Arnie Herber led the NFL in passing with 799 yards, completing 42 of 115 attempts for a 36.5% completion rate and a passer rating of 45.1. Despite his passing success, league-wide passing offense showed a decline in 1934, as the run game gained prominence, with Bears running back Beattie Feathers setting a new record for rushing yards"
