Missing the playoffs for the first time since 2085. Ownership is thinking about a change on the HC position. The roster is great and can be kept nearly completely but the playcalling was very bad. On the other hand Allen Varney still has a high standing in the franchise and has a good overall record and his playcalling was very good last year.

No black monday for Allen Varney in Philly. LuckyNumber__ and the coaching staff sat together and decided to go ahead in the same constellation for now.

Philly aquired two great fits with DE Wells and C Kennedy. Especially Wells came with a price. But he will be a big threat for every QB in the league in a tandem with 2nd year DE Pringle who had 13 sacks in his rookie year.

Solid camp in Philly. No big busts in the first rounds.

2nd year RB Eric James had the highest single game rush yards in Revolution history last game. He rushed for 230 yds which is 8 yards more then the former record of David Steinberg.

Starting with this season the Revolution will do a fan voting for the following team internal awards:

- Offensive player of the year
- Defensive player of the year
- Rookie of the year

Gonna be a tough offseason and a lot of work to replace them. But at least no key player is expected to retire.

End of season and FA 1 highlights:
Linebackers coach Ignacio Wilson retires after 10 successful years with the Revolution. All the best! The Revolution already found a successor with Jimmy Hinkley who was unemployed and has a past as Prague backfield coach and HC.

The Revolution also lost OC Eugene Santiago to the Armada. We wish him all the best for his first HC job.

A lot of offers for players we're rejected and there is still a lot of cap space for the Revolution. Could be that some current players will get their expensive extensions instead. Still we were able to strengthen our RB commitee with Jeffrey Villanueva.

Our key players James, Pringles and Simpson got a 6 year contract and will hopefully shape the future of our team.

FA 2 Highlights

The Revolution found a new OC. Ariel Munoz is a run focussed coach who was a kickers coach at Toyama until he took over as interim head coach there in week 4 last year.

The team also acquired a new kicker and punter with Albert Vester and Francis Derrick.

RG Neil Montaya and CB John McDonald got their requested contract extension with a high bonus. Both are important players for the team and will hopefully continue to perform in the next few years.

Blockbuster Trade

Philly trades 2093 1st round pick FS Brian Dawkins V to Rajkot for Gene Whaley (MLB), John Mackey (CB) and a 3rd round pick. Tough decision for the GM as Dawkins played very well but Philly was in need of a MLB after the contract of Max Vincent expired. Gonna be interesting draft.
