You don't if you spent $s on credit

So basically there are numerous people on just this topic who would buy if the prices were lower. Obviously he is to busy to actually take a look at this because that is missing money on the table, he desperately needs someone with a background in finances because this could really take off.

I can remember 3 times off the top of my head I would've purchased 1 credit for a dollar, granted that is only 3 dollars it is still better than nothing.

Here is my 2 cents ..

Option 1 .. A seperate custom credit "account" that way all credits purchased can be used specifically for customization.

Option 2 .. Custom Packs.

Pack 1 gives you enough credits to change the team name/city and colors.
Pack 2 gives you enough credits for Pack 1 + changing uniforms and logos.

I would also suggest opening the window to customize all season versus just the opening portion of the season .. If possible

On a personal note, being "snippy" about issues doesnt help the MFN Community at all. I try to think of a solution when I make a suggestion. It may not be practical or maybe others can provide better suggestions.

Also remember, this game can essentially be played for free. JDB works hard at it and to me, buying credits from time to time is my way of saying thank you.

Alright, I'll throw my 2 credits in (get it?). I think the curent system can be fixed with the introduction of a set number of free teams.

I think there should start with 2 or 3 free teams. Unlimited renewals for those teams. With time, an experienced agent can have a few more free teams. After a certain point you have to start paying for your extra teams. This will help against owners buying a new team in every league every day and not managing them at all. Keep all of the customization stuff the same and bam, it's all fixed.

Just to let you all know, I am listening to these requests and agree that there can be some improvements to the credit system. I do intend to make some changes but some of that is pending the UI rollover, in the mean time I am taking your suggestions and pondering the options.

You're aware that it's not a magically fairytale land where money goes from you to the game directly, right? Payment processors take their cut of things. I've seen some games that have had bad deals meaning they got what 50% of the money paid by the user.... so some choices may not be that viable...

I don't believe (sadly) the game is at a stage where it can expand to take on more people in terms of full time staffing...

also another thing about buying 1 credit at a time, most credit card processing companies charge a monthly charge just for the service and then if a transaction is under a certain amount (varies usually anywhere from $5-$20) they charge an additional processing fee to the vendor (MFN in this case) for EACH transaction under whatever the agreed upon minimum is. so depending on what the charge is it could actually cost JDB money out of his pocket if he makes the packages too small

on a side note, in previous posts JDB has said he is looking at the possibility of making packages that would give just enough credits to do certain customizations but he hasn't made a decision yet and the new interface is taking top priority before he works on anything else. Personally i'm with JDB on this one, i haven't bought any credits yet cause i can't afford $30 but i'm not complaining, yes it would be nice to do a little customizing but if i have to make a choice i'll take a better game engine over the ability to buy cheap credit packages any day of the week

I have seen lots of suggestions on many things to help make a better game and I would choose
a better game as well. I think its a very good game and don't want to see it messed up. I coached a long time, then had a bad heart attack and they put me on disability! Doctors wont let
me do anything because of the stress in the game. Then I found this little piece of heaven and
now have something I can do and **** on the doctors! Is it the same as being on the sidelines,
a little! Thank you JDB for bringing life back to this hasbeen and keep up the great work!
