I have played MFN for years. I enjoy playing, have got to know thru the game some game players. I’m a know quantity. I play fantasy football, and I’m in the sudden death league on yahoo with some players. Here is a couple of suggestions I have for a league I might open depending on interest. 1) straight up rules, punt rush, system cheats, no bueno. 2) A private league with known GM’s only. 3) NFL only teams) 4 the big difference to ensure participation and a 5 season commitment, a $20 entry fee. $5 for season, the end of the season champion is either awarded that years pot, or I’ll purchase a trophy equal to the years winnings. Since no one, including me is taking a cut this is not gambling, FYI I have spent 30 years in law. I think this could juice participation ensure participation, create more interest, etc. I’m open for opinions? I have grown weary drafting teams having league dies or having to rebuild a team in an established league that takes seasons to turn around. I’m also, aware a few of you out there are much better than me. If it costs me $5 to play a season against only the truly committed, small price to pay in my opinion. Everyone in the league will be vetted and vouched for. Give me your honest opinions, suggestions? and of course this is JDavids format so his word is law.

My condition for a new league:
- NFL Teams with logos
- no beta version
- free floating system rules by JDavid (keep it simple)
- no extra payment

option: new feature as gimmick
- partnership of two teams in each conference as side event (addition power ranking in average)
- allocation draft with trading picks just between partnership teams allowed (that´s the only rule)

Extra pay? Would be for a potential small money pot, or I’d actual design and have a trophy made. $5 a season, guarantee 4 seasons with all 32 teams owned. A central repository for the entry fee, everyone would know all the rules of play up front, via the committee of owners. All GM’s vote. Owners would be vetted and voted upon to enter the league, At the vetting process would require some type of identification by members already selected to own. if the player has earned a bad rep, I would not forward that player as a gm candidate. Not to create enemies, but I know who out here plays this game fair. If a new. Player is approved it would be our job to school him up, by sending him to locations for info. Pull some type of lazy draft pick, **** and no punter, would be a violation or expulsion. If termination is the league decision so be it or losing draft picks, etc. Everyone who would have to buy into the concept. Send more ideas, we can do this, if we rally want to a happy, 100-% or the committee. Could’ve created

i think the best thing to come out of this idea,would be having same committed owners tied in long term cos of their investments,think some of the leagues ive joined are losing owners and no new guys are sticking around.so can already see the death of the league couple seasons down the line.

IF, it happens, I'd be interested. I assume the initial entry fee would be dispursed to winners (if so how?). Who would hold the money (paypal?)

What extras would you be getting to make the League interesting (ie power rankings, stats, game reports, draft analysis, owner interaction etc or would the money be the sole reason to maintain interest?

Put me down as a provisional for Seattle if it ever comes to fruition.
